As COVID-19 continues to impact people locally and globally, HAGC is working to ensure that we do our part to keep the public and staff members safe and minimize the transmission of the virus. Therefore, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 HAGC is only open to the public for the limited purposes of:

(1) permitting individuals to drop off paperwork in the drop off box;

(2) permitting tenants to drop off checks in the designated rent collection boxes;

(3) by appointment only; HAGC strongly encourages residents or participants to call or email their assigned processor instead of requesting an  appointment. 

(4) HAGC has adjusted certain PHA operations to continue serving the mission of the Authority within the limitations presented by the COVID-19 pandemic by adopting certain waivers.  These waivers afford HAGC flexibility when needed to protect employees and the rights of families, facilitate initial lease ups, and keep families housed. Public Notice - Due to Covid-19, all meetings of the Board of Commissioners will be conducted virtually for the remainder of the 2020-2021 Annual Schedule of Meetings. The public may participate via telephone by calling 856-930-7416 ID 202 249 937#. Public Service Notice - On March 19, 2020, NJ Governor Philip Murphy issued Executive Order 106 which immediately suspends residential evictions throughout the state for non-payment of rent. This is called an “eviction moratorium,” and means that no residential tenant may be removed from their home as a result of an eviction due to non-payment of rent. This order does not eliminate rent owed or late fees, it just means your landlord cannot remove you from your home during the time the moratorium is in effect.
